The Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek is a condensed version of the Annapurna Base Camp trek, spanning only 8 days on the trail. It's ideal for individuals who are short on time but still want to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Annapurna mountain range. This trek provides ample opportunity to witness the stunning peaks of all the Annapurna giants that surround the bowl, including Annapurna 1 (8091m), Annapurna South (7273m), the Glacier Dome, Gangapurna (7454m), the unclimbed Fang (7647m), and the iconic Machhapuchhare (6997m) peak. In addition, the short Annapurna Base Camp trek promises an enjoyable, memorable experience and a glimpse into the natural and cultural heritage of Nepal, passing through diverse ethnic groups, lush vegetation, forests, and wildlife.
The trek begins at Siwai, with a drive to Nayapul followed by another two-hour drive to the trekking starting point. After arriving at Siwai, the trek continues to Jhinu Danda and finally Chomrong. The Annapurna Base Camp, situated at an altitude of 4130m, makes for a great trekking trail amidst the lap of the Himalayas. The trek combines the stunning Himalayan views and the lush green nature of Nepal, providing a unique and traditional local experience of the Nepalese people and their culture. However, this is typically possible within the 13-15 day Annapurna Base Camp trek.
For those seeking a shorter version of this trek, the Short Annapurna Base Camp Trekking still offers an incredible glimpse of the Himalayan beauty, Nepalese culture, hot spring pools, and customs, all within a condensed time frame.

We did ABC base camp at Easter -8 day trip. I cannot recommend destination unlimited enough. From the time we booked Ashok was texting us and getting us organised. Our permits and passes were done before we arrived and they met us at the airport. No stress. They provided us with the hiking bags the porters would carry (v handy as we left travel luggage with clean clothes in KTM) and we rented jackets directly from them. Poles & sleeping bags were included. Everything was organised at their office the day after we came. We had a terrific guide who attended to everything on the trek - meals, showers (if hot water was available!) and changed our trek from day to day if we were tired or wanted to take a different route. We had never done this type of trek before and our guide Dev was truely amazing. Highly recommend. And good value for money. We also had a teenager and aren’t especially fit but the guide spaced out the trek brilliantly according to our fitness and the weather. Fantastic trekking company. I’d definitely use them again.
