Khorpa Danda Trek (Annapurna Dhaulagiri Community Trek)

Khorpa Danda Trek lies in beautiful Annapurna Region and was recognized as teahouse trek only about 3 years ago. Even though the trek is only for 9 days, it is just unique and adventurous nonetheless. Walking through quite peaceful villages and dense forests, catching glimpses of entire Annapurna mountain range is quite relaxing. As the Khorpa Danda Trek itself is of moderate difficulty, anyone interested in a healthy body can attempt it. A beautifully combined lifestyle of various ethnic groups like Magar, Gurung, Chhetri, and Dalit is unlike anything you see in other places. Though trip includes teahouses, homestay is also offered to interested trekker which is an excellent opportunity to observe Nepali culture and cuisine closely.

Starting our trip from Kathmandu, we move to destinations like Pokhara, Ghandruk, and Tatopani bringing the trip to end back in Kathmandu. Highest altitude we reach during Khorpa Danda Trek is 4727meters at Khayer Lake. Highlights of this trip include picturesque villages, sunrise, and sunset from Poon Hill, panoramic view of Annapurna Ranges, Gurung Museum, dense forests and city of Pokhara. Each day of the trip can be expected to be filled with intense scenic beauty varying from mountains to forests. Nepal being culturally and naturally rich as it is, Khorpa Danda Trek helps to showcase beautiful hidden trails allowing you to enjoy your perfect escape from the busy schedule.

Needless to say, Destination Unlimited has years of experiences when it comes to trekking and adventure. Your safety is our main concern including reliability of our licensed guides. Making you every trip satisfying and enjoyable by taking you to hidden trails and natural treasures of Nepal is the ultimate objective of our company.
